The workshop- 4 entitled “Curriculum with Learning Outcome” was held at the permanent campus of Bangladesh University of Business & Technology on Thursday, November 29, 2018. The Self-Assessment (SA) Committee of the Department of English, BUBT organized the workshop. Professor Dr. M. Moniruzzaman of Dept. of English of Jahangirnagar University was the resource person of the workshop. He said, “Learning in our country is examination driven, but it should be education facilitated.” He also showed how an effective curriculum with learning outcome can be primmed in the workshop.
The welcome address was given by Mushfeka Deeba, Head, SA Committee, Dept. of English, BUBT. The Chief Guest, Prof. Syed Anwarul Huq, Dean, Faculty of Arts and Humanities, BUBT explained the significance of curriculum with learning outcome in achieving quality at any level of education. The Program Chair, Mohammad Shawkat Ali stated that the workshop would be a milestone in the development of the department. The Member of SA Committee, Md. Sabbir Ahmad took the privilege to extend a vote of thanks to the guests and the attendees of the workshop. All the faculty members of the department were present during the sessions.
