Shams mentioned that in the documentary a daughter recalls rare memories and insights on the relationship with her widely esteemed father. The CRI executive director added, “we present her transformation from a woman with a carefree, simple childhood who grew up among her friends at Azimpur Girls School changed into a leader determined to seek justice against those who conspired to assassinate her 20 family members.”

After the release of the trailer, the positive reactions start coming from social media. Ishtiaq Ahsan responded, “The person we see today is a leader and a visionary, an icon for the entire country to see. And yet things didn’t start out that way. She was a mother of 2 little children living her life in peace. But one day finds out that her father along with everyone from her family has been murdered in cold blood. Just imagining that happen to someone is absolutely devastating. Every person that she knew all her life were gone in an instant. Thinking how someone who had to face that kind of trauma decided to step in the shoes of her recently deceased father is a feat on it’s own. For that alone and the huge will power that she resonates when ever she addresses the nation and her people is worth a million standing ovations.”

Sneha wrote, “This touched my heart we could never measure the pain she went through! Indeed she’s a fighter! If she can do all these without anyone behind her, any girl can.”

Mim wrote, “Heartbreaking for her how she had to see her father’s dead body, thanks to her people I didn’t even get to see that. Nice way to let people know how it feels to lose your Baba… A daughters tale it is.”
