The Spanish giant Football Club Barcelona starts their new season with an outstanding victory over Deportivo Alaves as one of the biggest domestic football tournaments the Spanish La Liga undergoes its 2018-19 season on Saturday. The game took place at Barcelona’s home ground Camp Nou as the defending champion scored 3 goals to seal the valuable three points and took the leading position in point table.

The skipper of Barcelona as well as the Argentine magician Lionel Messi scored two goals to mark the night in the capital of Catalonia.

The game started with the Deportivo Alaves paid guard of honor to Barcelona for their recent Spanish Super Cup win and also for lifting the La Liga title in the previous season 2017-18.

From the very first minute of the game, Valverde’s men put forth frontal pressure on the visiting side as several counter attacks were executed but couldn’t make it to the net as Alaves goalkeeper Pacheco held the goal line very strongly.

On the 13th minute of the game, the Crotian superstar Ivan Rakitic placed a fine through ball to Leo Messi that went little bit far away from the net as the Argentine missed the accuracy a bit.

The second half underwent with a several changes from each side as the first half went goal nil to each. The deadlock was finally broken on the 64thminute when the home side was given a free kick almost on the edge of the penalty box. The chance was astonishingly clinched by the five times Fifa Best Player Awarded Lionel Messi as he placed the ball into the net in a very trickery way rolling it under the defensive wall and gave the lead by 1-0 goal. With this goal, Messi took Barcelona into their 6000th goal in La Liga history.

Barca doubled their lead on the 83th minute of the game with an outstanding goal by the Brazilian sensation Philippe Coutinho. The new signing for the Catalonia Arthur Melo through the ball into the edge of the penalty box where Coutinho took it and dribbled inside, beat a couple of players before lashing home.

Just on the verge of winning the game, the Barca skipper made it a 3-0 triumph for the night as Messi scored his second goal of the game from a chipped ball by the Uruguayan striker Luiz Suarez on the 92nd minute of the game.
