Nvidia released their entry-level graphics card the 1660 non-ti version with GDDR5 memory. It is rivaling the AMD counterpart rx570 and rx580. The GPU rivals with rx580 and rx590 in real time performance.
In Bangladesh perspective, the price of the GPU is around 19000BDT to 25000BDT. We have tested the Zotac Variant, it is priced around 22000t, providing dual fans are in benchmark rivals on par with rx590 8gb editions.
This move by Nvidia into the entry to mid-level section is very bold and completely disrupts the sell of AMD rx variants. If we compare in price to performance in Bangladesh perspective if the price remains around 20k BDT, it will continue to be a great card replacing the previous generations GTX1060 and beats rx580 and rx590 in value, as AMD’s variant still remains around 24000-30000tk. The price will surely go down in the coming months as the price worldwide is decreased.
