You must buy 80+ graded PSU whether that is white coded or the platinum ones.
To be in the sweet spot is to buy a Bronze color 80 plus grade PSU for a range of 300- 600 Watt users. If you are in the 650+ Watt section then we will suggest you get the Gold-rated 80 plus ones for better power management. Bronze color coded ones will be effective up to 85-88% of the provided power range whereas Gold graded 80plus are able to provide 90-92% of the continuing power supply.
