Nvidia released GTX 1660ti their offering under 280$ mark based on Turing architecture on February 22, 2019, but lacks the Tensor cores, Ray Tracing ability, and DLSS as they have stated they will not release any of their Ray Tracing, AI capable cards under 300$.

Reviewers already tested the card’s performance and basically, it sits between RTX 2060 and previous generation GTX 1060 6gb variant. It is roughly the same as GTX 1070 in 1080p and 1440p gaming. On the other hand, AMD drastically cut down the price of RX Vega 56 and retailing at Newegg around 279$, that is a very good price but the supply is not up to the demand.

We hope the arrival of GTX 1660ti in Bangladesh market in the first week of March. Though Vega supply is uncertain in local Bangladesh vendors, even if they are available price may not fall for at least 3-4 months from now on. Desktop users are already selling off their AMD RX580 and the sale of RX 590 already decreased.

Let’s hope the new budget-friendly Nvidia card’s price remains the same in Bangladesh market as it should be. A reliable source stated that the price might be in between 25000BDT to 30000BDT.
