Road Transport Minister and Bridges Minister and Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader’s health condition is far better than it was before. He is returning to the health after the bypass surgery. He could even move by himself.
Sheikh Walid Foyez, an official of Bridge department said, “The artificial life support of Road Transport Minister and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader has been removed and he now can walk and move normally”.
Dr. Sivathasan Cumaraswamy, a cardiothoracic surgeon at Mount Elizabeth Hospital and senior teammate of a medical board formed for Quader’s treatment on 20th March. He had there a successful bypass surgery.
Earlier on 3rd March, the AL leader was admitted to the CCU of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University in the capital because of having a breathing problem. On 4th March, he flew to Singapore for better treatment.
