This morning (30 March), 3 members of the same family died eating poisonous curd in the Chokjuthuri village, Uttorgram Union of Mohadevpur Upazila, Naogaon. The deceased are Arjun (32), his wife Tithi (25), and their two and half years old boy, Aronno.
The duty officer (OC) of the Mohadevpur thana, Sajjad Hossen informed that yesterday, Arjun bought curd from nearby market and brought that to his home. At night, all of them ate the curd before going to sleep. From midnight, they didn’t feel better. After that, with the help of locals, they were admitted to the Mohadevpur Upazila Health Complex. After being admitted, their boy Aronno died. Arjun and his wife Tithi also died saturday morning. Sajjad Hossen also informed that the bodies will provided to the family after autopsy. The chairman of the Uttorgram Union, Abid Hossen also confirmed this matter.
