The five times world cup winner Brazil was denied a clear 3 point win against the Switzerland in their first group stage match on Sunday to ended up the game with a draw by 1-1 goal. The group-E match of the World Cup 2018 began at 12 am in Bangladesh time in Rostov Arena, Rostov-on-Don, Russia.

From the beginning of the tournament, the Sambas were the favorite as they potent the best eleven in the squad. Keeping that in mind, the Swiss set up their lineup for the match at their best to make any difference and fortunately they made it happen.

As the referee started the match, the men in yellow took their frontier pressure on the Swiss defense. Several times they tried to penetrate the Swiss defensive line yet in vain with some serious attempts.

The first half ended up with Brazil taking the lead into the game.

As the second half began, the table gradually began to turn since the Swiss made a vital change in their tactics. And the result came very soon when the Swiss winger Steven Zuber headed the ball crossed by Shaqiri into the box and made it level by 1-1 goal.

The Sambas were in serious strain with the equalizer by the Swiss and put the pressure double into their opponent’s defensive lines. But Petkovic’s men strengthened their defense in such a bold level that Neymar, Coutinho, Jesus couldn’t make it through and had to leave the field with a draw.

Earlier in the group- F match, the four times world cup winner Germany had to commence their world cup journey with a defeat against the Latin side Mexico by 1-0 goal.
