Only two days remain to kick off the 21st Fifa World Cup to be held in Russia. And yet all the prediction of fans, analysts have already begun. The skippers and the players are also judging themselves, commenting, and calculating their chances to win the glory this year in Russia.

The PSG forward and Brazil’s team leader Neymar Jr is dreaming of claiming the sixth world cup trophy since the calculation is favoring highly for the Sambas.

The Brazilian superstar Neymar scored his 55th international goal to go level with Romario and sit joint-third in Brazil’s all-time scoring charts during their 3-0 win over Austria on Sunday.

Neymar quoted, “You have to trust, you dream, you can talk, you’re Brazilian and you can dream; we’re dreaming more and more. Dreaming is not forbidden.”

Neymar is now level with Romario and only behind Ronaldo (62) and Pele (77) in Brazil’s all-time record scoring charts.

He joked about Austria’s rough approach. “We got ready for the UFC today, but it was good,” Neymar added, “Everyone was unharmed.”

The Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus who now has 10 international goals expressed his immense trust on Tite’s side and said, “All the games before the World Cup were important to reach this level of performance, Austria had quality and we knew it would not be easy. We managed to play, involve their team and make another big game. Not only was the attack well, the group went very well.”

On the other counterpart, the five-time Fifa Baloon d’Or awarded Lionel Messi asserts his future with the Argentina national team to be decided upon the performance in the World Cup 2018. If the performance does not go in according to the expectation, the best player in the world is going to bid adieu to his national team career.

Though the 30 years old Argentine forward resigned from his international career back in 2016 when his team lost the Copa America final to Chili, Messi came back to lead the men in blue to the World Cup 2018 on peoples’ urges.

But this time Leo got it in one way as he suggested that he will retire for good if the nation underperforms, telling Spanish newspaper, “I don’t know. It will depend how we do, how it ends.”

Messi expressed with a sigh, “the fact we’ve lost three finals now has led to some complicated moments with the Argentine press due to the differences in seeing what it means to reach a final.”

“It is not easy and [reaching three finals] has to be appreciated. It’s true that winning them is important, but getting there is not easy,” he added.
