The defending champion Real Madrid defeated the Italian giant Juventus in the 1st leg of quarter final of the UEFA Champions league 2017-18 on Tuesday night. The Portugese sensation Cristiano Ronaldo scored two goals with a record of scoring in ten consecutive matches in the
champions league as Zinedine Zidan’s men got the victory with 3 away goals in their bags.

The match started with both the sides playing their best eleven at Allianz Stadium – Torino. On the very opening minutes of the game, Madrid star Ronaldo scored the first goal of the match through a nutmeg pass from Isco.

Both sides relentlessly tried their best to increase their score lines but in vain. On the 37th minute of the game, Madrid mid fielder Tony Kroos hit the up bar and failed to double the lead.

Juventus young sensation Paulo Dybala was booked a yellow card as he intentionally dived at the D-box asking for a penalty. With the starting of the second half, the home side put forth pressure on the Madrid defensive line yet failed to penetrate the ball into the goal line.

On the 63rd minute of the game, Ronaldo scored his second goal of the night with an outstanding back volley from a loop ball into the box by Carvajal and led the team by 2 goals.

Juventus was left with one man down as Dybala was booked with second yellow card to leave the ground for his decisive tackle to Carvajal.

The game was almost slipped out of the home side when the Madrid left back Marcelo bagged the third goal of the night into Juventus’ net from a through ball from Ronaldo on the 71st minute. The home side couldn’t stand up against the Spanish giant and ended up the game with
an almost impossible come back chance in the 2nd leg of the game.
