It’s high time you moved on towards SSDs from the pain sticking realm of mechanical hard disk drive storage system. No matter what you are using, a laptop, notebook or desktop if there are budget and option to upgrade buy yourself an SSD.
They were costly in the past. Now you will find 480/500gb ones under 5000bdt, yes it is true. They are reliable, no need to worry about wear outs and lifetime, you will find the Biostar 2.5inch ones at around 4500-4800bdt and that’s for 480gb. In comparison, our test bench found that Biostar s100 480gb performs similar to an Adata su650.
Go with the Biostar SSDs and save some money if you are not into DRAM integrated SSDs. The speed of the 480gb is very pleasing. It is ideal for any home-pc user and gaming set up. We will not suggest it as a boot device for any workstation setup. But for general storage, even workstation load is not a big deal. Our team didn’t find any error in moderate to extreme workloads and synthetic benchmarks.
So, we highly suggest anyone buy speedy storage as soon as possible. They are cheap than before now. Who knows when the price dwindles like the RAM price of mid-2017 – early 2019.
