Intel’s upcoming budget range, CPUs possible shortage and the possibility to memory module price decrease

Competition is tough in the microprocessor and computer platform manufacturing industry, and it is more than ever in the history of computer technology. Intel and AMD after a long time competing for toe to toe and it’s good for the consumers.

Intel’s new generation budget oriented microprocessors will be short in production, so the use of DRAM by many new users or the awaited updating users will be decreased. The manufacturing process of the memory module is stable than before and the price is more or less stable if we compare it with the time before 6-7 months from now on. It has been reported that in the coming months there will be more decrease in the ram price.

Intel’s shortage of CPUs will surely impact on the sale of AMD counterparts, as they are already at a better value and great update path.

This is great news for all desktop users and they will surely add one or two modules to update their system memory. Is it a good time for ram quality update or should we wait for DDR5? No, there will be always something down the corner and waiting for a new platform is silly if you are not in the league of the whole system upgrade. We suggest all who were waiting for DRAM upgrade in their existing system to buy as soon as the decreased price hit the market.

In Bangladeshi perspective, we are already seeing lessened DDR4 ram price and you can find a good quality 8gb module at around 4600-5500tk. In the coming months, they are expected to be around 4000-5000tk in all kinds of variety even the gaming ones.
