Spanish football club FC Barcelona finally broke their winning drought as the Catalan skipper Lionel Messi stroke with a splendid hat-trick and an assist to bring a clean three-point away victory against Sevilla FC on Saturday night. With three winning goals, Messi completed his 50th hat-trick in all competition and 32nd in Spanish La Liga.

The match held at Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán as Sevilla hosting the current leader in the point table FC Barcelona. With the match official blew the whistle, the home team gone straight up to the attacking mode and tried to penetrate through the Catalan defense.

The home crowd cheered up with joy as the Sevilla skipper Jesus Navas made the lead with a stunning shot to put the ball into the visitors’ net on the 22nd minute of the game.

The away side came up with different tactics in the second half of the game as Valverde made several changes in the lineup. Messi on the 67th minute of the game equalized the scoreboard again to silent the home crowd.

The home side boosted up their attacking phase to take the lead but in vain. The ‘Little-Magician’ of world’s football scored his third goal of the night as well as completed his 50th career hat-trick on the 85th minute of the game by chipping off the ball over the goalkeeper.

Almost on the edge of winning the away match, Barca yet decided to bag another goal into the home side’s net. This time the Catalan striker Luiz Suarez, who has been starving from scoring goals, scored a chipped goal from a tricky through pass from Messi on 93rd minute of the game. As the match official blew the whistle, the visitors bagged three points victory and remain in the top of the table with 57 points in 25 matches.
