Due to the political complications between India and Pakistan especially after the Pulwama massacre on 14 February, like other Indians, T Series starts banning Pakistani singers. Being The best leading music company of India, T Series has already removed the new tracks which are featured by two most popular Pakistani singer Atif Aslam and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.
Because of the Kashmir conflict between India and Pakistan for the last few years, lots of Bollywood’s on-screen and off-screen celebrities started to ban Pakistani actors and singers. But this time, the conflict has become so acute and companies and other actors cannot stay silent.
Before T Series ban them, Bollywood star and film producer Salman Khan also did the same. When he donated a huge amount of money for the Indian martyrs, people started to criticize him for taking a song, sung by the Pakistani talent Atif Aslam in his upcoming movie Bharat. So, he has decided to record the same song by another Indian singer.
T Series doesn’t officially ban the Pakistani singers but the removal of the soundtracks from YouTube by them just propagate a big controversy. From a reliable source, close to T Series, it is informed that “The Company had cut down — but not entirely eliminated — all the Pakistani artists from its roster”.
