Prize giving ceremony held today at Rahmania Elementary School, Phultala, Khulna, with great enthusiasm and fervor. The whole school campus was brightly adorned with colourful flags, festoons and banners.
Mr. Ahmed Ziaur Rahman, Upazilla Nirbahi Officer, Phultala Khulna, was the chief guest of the programme. Mr. Manirul Islam, acting officer, Philtala thana, Khulna; Mr. Sheikh Matiur Rahman, Upazilla Secondary Education Officer, Phultala, Khulna; Mrs. Chaina Rani Dutta, Upazilla Education Officer were the special guests and Mr. Kutubuddin Ahmed, the honourable president and founder of RES, were present on the occasion.
The function started just at 11:45 am. At first, two students of class eight recited from the holy Quran and from the Geeta to solemnise the function. Then, the honourable Headmisstress of the school,Mrs. Sharmin Akter delivered welcome speech. Some students sang patriotic songs and some students sang beginning song…. amra korbo joy….for the honour of the guests.
The invited guests admired the overall performance and environment of the school. They also inspired the students to participate in games and sports more and more. The chief guest, special guests, the founder of the school, SMC members and the teachers distributed prizes among the winners.
The programme ended with the ending speech of the honourable founder and president of RES, Mr. Kutubuddin Ahmed. In his speech, Mr. Kutubuddin Ahmed expressed gratitude to the honourable invited guests.
